Product Introduction
A high voltage DC transformer converts one DC voltage into another or multiple DC voltages, mainly used for power transmission and electrical isolation. Its operating principle is to convert DC power into high-frequency AC power through a high-frequency inverter circuit (such as push-pull, half-bridge, or full-bridge topology). After coupling via an isolation transformer, the high-frequency AC power is then restored to DC power by a high-frequency rectifier circuit (such as half-wave or full-bridge rectification) on the secondary side. Common models: PQ type, EE type, and toroidal type.

Product Features
Compared with traditional power-frequency transformers applied in high-voltage DC transmission systems, high-voltage DC transformers feature high power and high power density. For the same power rating, their volume is only one-tenth that of traditional power-frequency transformers. They are also suitable for scenarios where high-voltage DC power is directly converted into low-voltage DC power required by electrical equipment.

Application Fields
High-voltage DC transformers are mainly used in:

FAQ
Q: How can the design of high-voltage DC transformers be made more compact?
A: Adopt bobbin-less winding technology (can save more than 20% of space).
Use rectangular Litz wire to improve winding compactness.
Adopt copper sheets or flat wires for the secondary side.
